Common questions
How much dust will there be?
Our HEPA-filtered extraction captures around 99% of dust at the source. You’ll still want to seal off furniture, but it’s nothing like traditional jackhammer removal.
Do you remove the tile adhesive too?
Yes. Standard removal lifts the tile; we add the scrape-back service if you need a flat, bondable surface for the next floor covering.
How quickly can you book me in?
Usually within 1 week. Urgent jobs can sometimes be accommodated — give us a call.
Can I stay in the house?
Yes — most clients do. We seal off the work area with plastic and clean up at the end of each day.
What about asbestos?
Tiles or backing laid before the late 1980s can contain asbestos. We arrange a free sample test before quoting — if positive, we refer to a licensed removalist.
Do you do bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes — both wall and floor tile removal in wet areas. Waterproofing membranes are usually removed with the tiles to allow re-waterproofing.
